Doctors
Dr. John Baker, DVM
I grew up on a small family farm in eastern Warrick County and graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Three years prior, I married my wife, Andrea, with whom I raised our two children and various 4-H animals, including ponies, goats, and Suffolk. We now have an English bulldog named Axle who is also part of the family. I opened Warrick Veterinary Clinic in 1984 as a mixed animal practice and consider it a blessing to now have both of my children, Drs. Jordan and Natalie, as part of the veterinary team. Today, Warrick Veterinary Clinic has eight veterinarians at our two locations. Our goal at the clinic was and still is to always improve the services we offered our clients.

Dr. Jordan Baker, DVM
As the son of a veterinarian, I always dreamed of following in my father’s footsteps, so I moved to West Lafayette in 2003 after high school to pursue veterinary medicine. I graduated from Purdue’s Vet School in 2010 and joined our Boonville team soon after. Since then, I have worked with various species and added new imaging services and equipment to the clinics, including digital x-rays, ultrasound, and endoscopy.
My wife, Rachel, and I moved back to Warrick County in the Spring of 2019 with our son and daughter, Jackson & Adalyn, who are already proving to be animal lovers. Time will tell if they choose to follow the family footsteps. Our new space allows us to continue growing our own personal petting zoo, consisting of goats, horses, and pigs, along with the many dogs and cats. Rachel completed her training as a veterinary technician from Murray State University, but we are very grateful that she can stay home with our two children during their early years before she continues pursuing her own career in veterinary medicine.
I’m fortunate to now work alongside my father and sister, Drs. John and Natalie Baker, and other great veterinarians, technicians, and staff. We at Warrick Vet are truly a family-owned and operated, homegrown establishment. We have wonderful clients, and I am excited to continue to meet and serve our community.
Dr. Jordan Baker DVM
Dr. Natalie Schumacher, DVM
I was born and raised on a farm in Warrick County. Growing up with a father who was a mixed animal veterinarian and with domestic and 4-H animals, there was never a doubt that I, too, wanted a career in veterinary medicine. I was accepted into the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2014, and pursued a mixed animal tract. Now, I provide care for companion animals on Saturday mornings with our Boonville team, but most of my time is spent doing swine herd health checks for our swine producers. Outside of work, I enjoy horseback riding, boating, and supporting the Boilermakers’ sports teams. I’m the proud owner of a spotted pony (Lucky), an English bulldog (Rosie), a golden retriever (Forrest), and two kittens (Pip and Gray Bush).
Dr. Natalie Schumacher DVM
Dr. Elisha Perrin, DVM
My name is Elisha Perrin, and I joined the Boonville team at Warrick Veterinary Clinic in June 2017. I grew up just north of the practice in Loogootee, Indiana. Much of my childhood was spent raising and showing beef cattle, dairy goats, and chickens in 4-H with my dogs being my constant companions. I always respected our vet and appreciated the time and effort he put into our animals which helped me to decide to pursue a career as a veterinarian.
I graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Animal Sciences in 2013. After that, I was accepted into Purdue’s College of Veterinary Medicine where I focused on food animal medicine and graduated in 2017. My main interests are helping clients develop preventative health programs for their livestock and reproductive technologies such as ultrasounding pregnancies, fetal sexing, and embryo transfer.
Although I do spend time on the road making farm calls for cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, and alpacas, I’m excited to say you’ll also see me working at Warrick Veterinary Clinic in Boonville and Newburgh where I have the pleasure of helping with preventative care for your companion animals as well.
My husband, Joe, and I live in Boonville with our two children and a menagerie of dogs, cats and livestock . I love spending time outside whether that be hiking, canoeing, or gardening. If you can’t find me outside, it’s a safe bet I’m inside cheering on my Purdue Boilermakers!
I’m proud to be a member of the team of outstanding doctors and staff here at WVC and I’m looking forward to working with you and your animals!

Dani C, DVM Intern
Hellooo! My name is Daniela but everyone at the clinic calls me Dr. Dani. I’m from Mexico City and was the first Mexican intern to come join the amazing program Dr. John started. I graduated from vet school in 2022 and had previously worked in the animal nutrition field and breeding Golden Retrievers and Dobermans.
As soon as I got here, I started planning how to bring my dog, Lennon a Golden Retriever, all the way from Mexico. It was a week long adventure, but he finally made it and now loves the midwestern weather. I really love working here, every day is a new opportunity to learn something new.

Born and raised in Mexico City, I followed my passion for the animal health and well-being to Boonville, Indiana. As a child I always looked after my family pets, so when was time to choose my own path, it was clear that veterinary medicine was the way. I’m a proud graduate from Universidad Autónoma de México where I discovered the wonders of veterinary medicine with a special focus on domestic animals, surgery, and cats. It’s my priority to take care of the animals coming to the clinic as they remind me of my many pets: a Golden Retriever mix (Benito), a Shi Tzu (Luca) three kittens (Flor, Camila, Paolo). I hope to keep learning and expanding my horizons at Warrick Vet Clinic.

Rachael
Hello! I’m Rachael and I became a member of the Warrick Vet family in January 2020. I am currently in my last semester of school for my RVT. I grew up in southern, rural Warrick County, and will always be a country girl at heart. I have been married to my husband John for almost 20 years, and we have 2 boys – Zach & Jaxson.
We also have a small four-legged army of 2 dogs – Sawyer (our yellow lab) and Oliver (our adopted mutt that I affectionately call the demon dog) – and 15 (soon-to-be 16) cats (Sassy, Sunny, Sam, Sylas, Nory, Ozzy, Reggie, Briar, Willa, Dawsyn, Arrow, Ruby, Morty, Lucy, Violet and Vigo on the way this fall). I am definitely a crazy cat lady!
While passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, I have a particular fondness for working with spicy felines (although I do love big mutts, I cannot lie). I love the raw beauty of nature and will be late, wherever I'm going, in order to capture a picture of a beautiful skyline. In all my non-existent free time I like photography, flower gardening, cleaning/organizing, and spending time at home with my family.

Hope
Howdy, my name’s Hope and I came to Warrick Vet in 2022 when I was looking to get into a field I hold close to my heart. I’ve always had a love for animals and a special talent of rescuing any cats dumped on my family’s farm growing up. I always knew I’d end up in a place where I could help people and animals grow together and where I could develop a relationship with both! Today I have two cats named Umbreon and Howey Winston, and a wonderful Husky puppy named Grimoire who keeps me on my toes. Somewhere along my journey I certainly developed a soft spot for ducks and avian life. The one pictured is Yeoubi who is a white crested, but I currently have 14 ducks and counting! When I’m not working, I enjoy being outdoors, working on my various art projects, or just hanging out with my duckies.

Meghan
Hi! I’m Meghan and I am from Wayne City, Illinois. I’m a Senior at Murray State University studying to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I’m on track to graduate May of 2024 and will complete my internship with WVC during summer of 2024.
I was raised on a Beef farm and was a 10-year 4-H member. Though mainly being around large animals growing up, my passion in veterinary medicine is small animal. I came to the area due to my boyfriend, Luke being from here. We are the proud parents of my cat, Pedro, and hope to grow our four-legged family soon! My soul dog, and best friend is my family’s mini-Australian Shepard, Bentley.
I began working in Veterinary Medicine when I was 17 in 2020 and found my true passion. I joined the Warrick Vet Clinic family the summer of 2023 after finding out about their internship program and immediately fell in love with the doctors, staff, and environment! These are some of the best people to work beside and I can’t ask for a better team!

Jessica
My name is Jessica, born and raised in Mt. Vernon, Indiana and moved to Lynnville in 2015 with my husband Emil, and our 3 kiddos. I started at Warrick Vet Clinic in August 2023 as an extern, and was asked to officially join the team in September 2023! I am currently enrolled in the Vet Nursing Distance Learning program through Purdue University where I am set to graduate in May of 2025.
I have always been an animal lover, but have generally only had cats and dogs. I’ve always been that person at a get together of some sort hanging out with the animals, not the people!
I love getting the opportunity to work with all the animals daily, and I am so grateful to have been given this chance.
Since working here, I now live by the motto “ask for forgiveness, not permission” when animals come in who need a loving, forever home. I have 3 dogs - Spider, Ellie, and Nugget (Spider was acquired my first month here) and 4 cats - Pickles, Ringo Scar, Slayer, and Vixen (Pickles was acquired my second month).
