Our equipment such as phone and computer systems, endoscope, ultrasound, and digital radiology machine have been updated. We like to add services and equipment that bring value to our clients and the health of their pets. For examples we were one of the first clinics in the area to use a surgical laser and to use emailing and texting software for communication with our clients. We have multiple RVTs and experienced support staff to better serve our clients.

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician that is a highly motivated, continual learner, compassionate individual that is seeking employment with a growing company that supports professional growth and willingness to change with the veterinary industry. This individual needs to have the desire to use his/her skills to the fullest to elevate the team to give the pets and clients the best our clinic can offer. We offer competitive salary and benefits (compensation for CE, liability insurance, and licensing for example).
This position will perform the following (at one or both of our Boonville & Newburgh locations):
- Assist veterinarian(s) during patient appointments
- Induce & monitor patients under anesthesia
- Prepare & monitor patients during surgeries and dental cleanings
- Assist veterinarian during surgical & dental procedures
- Log & Report controlled substances to the State of Indiana
- Maintain controlled substance log books
- Attend 16 hours of continued education every 2 years
- Perform injections (i.e. allergy, pain, vaccination boosters) without direct supervision from a veterinarian
- Educate clients
- Use proper restraint practices that protect the pet, technician, and veterinarian
- Draw blood & urine to run in-house labwork
- General cleaning, organizing, and stocking throughout the clinic
- Fill medications
- Maintain patient medical histories

Warrick Veterinary Clinic encourages all generations to explore their potential career options. We offer opportunities to shadow our practice staff during the work day to get on-the-job insights into the veterinary world.
Job shadowing is available to those 14 years of age and older. If under the age of 18, a liability/permission form is to be filled out prior to the job shadowing visit.
