Veterinarians

Dr. Jordan Baker, DVM/Practice Manager

As the son of a veterinarian, I always dreamed of following in my father’s footsteps, so I moved to West Lafayette in 2003 after high school to pursue veterinary medicine. I graduated from Purdue’s Vet School in 2010 and joined Warrick Veterinary Clinic soon after. Since then, I have worked with various species and added new services and equipment to the clinics, including digital radiography and ultrasound.

My wife, Rachel, and I reside in Evansville and have a daughter named Adalyn, who is already proving to be an animal lover. Time will tell if she chooses to follow the family footsteps. Rachel is also pursuing a career in veterinary medicine; she recently completed her training as a veterinary technician from Murray State University.

I’m fortunate to now work alongside my father and sister, Drs. John and Natalie Baker, and other great veterinarians, technicians, and staff. We at Warrick Vet are truly a family-owned and operated, homegrown establishment. We have wonderful clients, and I am excited to continue to meet and serve our community.

Veterinarians in Newburgh

Dr. Amanda Flick, DVM

My love of caring for animals started at a young age; I have always had quite the variety of pets, from parakeets to dairy goats to dogs and cats. I graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. Following graduation, I spent a year in the Appalachian Mountains before returning home to West Side Evansville. I began working with the Warrick Veterinary Clinic Newburgh Plaza team in May of 2016. I live with my dog, Sunshine, and two cats, Quigley and Willow. I hope to add chickens and rabbits in the near future, too. In my free time, I enjoy crafting and gardening.

Vets in Newburgh

Dr. Natalie Baker, DVM

I was born and raised on a farm in Warrick County. Growing up with a father who was a mixed animal veterinarian and with domestic and 4-H animals, there was never a doubt that I, too, wanted a career in veterinary medicine. I was accepted into the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2014, and pursued a mixed animal tract. Now, I provide care for companion animals on Saturday mornings here in Newburgh, but most of my time is spent doing swine herd health checks for our swine producers. Outside of work, I enjoy horseback riding, boating, and supporting the Boilermakers’ sports teams. I’m the proud owner of a spotted pony (Lucky), an English bulldog (Rosie), a golden retriever (Forrest), and two kittens (Pip and Gray Bush).

Vets in Newburgh

Dr. John Baker, DVM

I grew up on a small family farm in eastern Warrick County and graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Three years prior, I married my wife, Andrea, with whom I raised our two children and various 4-H animals, including ponies, goats, and Suffolk. We now have an English bulldog named Axle who is also part of the family. I opened Warrick Veterinary Clinic in 1984 as a mixed animal practice and consider it a blessing to now have both of my children, Drs. Jordan and Natalie, as part of the veterinary team. Today, Warrick Veterinary Clinic has eight veterinarians at our two locations. Our goal at the clinic was and still is to always improve the services we offered our clients.

I have been with the clinic since September of 2015. I live in Boonville with my two daughters, Hanna and Olivia, along with our two dogs, Titus and Creo. Between the four of them, they keep me pretty busy.

Mary

I began working at Warrick Vet Clinic Newburgh Plaza in September of 2015. I work the front desk and absolutely love it here. I grew up in Chandler and love living there. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Ariah, and family; being outdoors; laughing with friends; and reading books. I also enjoy cooking and watching movies from my collection that I add to as often as possible. I look forward to spoiling all those precious babies.

Registered Veterinary Technicians

Lindsay, RVT

I started working with Warrick Veterinary Clinic in August of 2013. In June of 2013, I graduated from Harrison College with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. I went on to take my Veterinary Technician National Exam and passed to become an RVT. I live in Boonville with my husband, Alex; our son, Clark; our cocker spaniel mix named Russ; and our Australian shepherd mix named Griswold. My favorite hobby is cooking! I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, and taking my dogs for a walk.

Allison, RVT

I have been a Registered Veterinary Technologist at Warrick Vet Clinic since May of 2014.  I am a 2013 graduate of Murray State University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in agriculture with an emphasis in animal health technology. My special interests in the clinic include nutrition, palliative care, and emergency medicine. I have a dog named Pippa, a Maltipoo, and an Aussie mix named Dunker who loves to watch over the front desk. I look forward to serving our community through caring for your four- (sometimes three-) legged family members!

Whitney, RVT

I graduated from Harrison College in September of 2015 with my associate’s degree in veterinary technology and have been at Warrick Vet ever since. I live in Evansville with my husband, Geoff, and our four fur babies (Sultan, Bella, Jasper, and Casey). Dentistry is my favorite component of veterinary medicine. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, playing/coaching tennis, and DIY projects!

I started working at Warrick Vet Clinic Newburgh Plaza in June of 2015. Soon after, I graduated from Harrison College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in veterinary technology. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Jazlyn; our dogs, King and Khaos; and our cat, Goliath.

Jessica

I am an assistant/lead kennel tech here at Warrick Vet Clinic Newburgh Plaza. I started working here for the Bakers in June of 2014, after graduating from Ashworth College in January of 2014. It has been a great experience, and I love working with all of our patients and getting to know their two-legged owners. I look forward to meeting all of our new clients and patients. When I’m not here taking care of our furry friends, I enjoy spending time with my family/friends and my husband, Josh, and our pit bull, Hoss. In my spare time, I like fishing, camping, and playing softball. I hope to see you and your fur baby soon.

Lauren

I started working at Warrick Vet Clinic in April of 2016 and have always had a passion for animals. I currently attend the University of Southern Indiana as a sophomore majoring in communication studies. I enjoy spending my free time with my dogs Bitty, (mini shar pei) and Jake, as well as my three cats, Sugar, Marley, and Belle.

Office Manager

Shannon

I joined the Warrick Vet Clinic Newburgh Plaza team in August of 2014. I started with the team working the front desk and was shortly promoted to office manager. I have been working in the veterinary medical field for over 20 years. I live in the Newburgh area with my daughter, Autumn. We have three dogs Odie (Labrador), Molly (pug), Kami (Labrador mix), and a cat named Thea. I enjoy spending my free time with Autumn and my family, being outdoors, and doing crafts.

I love the staff at Warrick Vet Clinic! They are always friendly and courteous, and more importantly, they remember mine and my pet's name. My cat has a lot of medical issues, and they are always willing to take the time and explain treatment plans and how they are going to affect his overall health.
